ABOUT ME

 I have been teaching since the fall of 2016. I graduated from Loras College with a Bachelors in English Literature and Education with endorsements in Language Arts and Special Education. I am currently working on my Master's Degree through Concordia University Chicago.

After college, I was a Fulbright Scholar in Malaysia, where I taught English as a second language. "The Fulbright Program is the flagship international educational exchange program sponsored by the U.S. government and is designed to increase mutual understanding between the people of the United States and the people of other countries."

After teaching in Malaysia, I taught in Iowa for four years. My husband and I wanted to relocate back to Illinois to be closer to family and this will be our 4th year in the McHenry Area.

I love to be around my family. I have three children under 5 and they keep us busy! Mr. Satterlee is the Principal at Saints Peter & Paul in Cary, IL. I enjoy being outside, drinking lots of coffee and going fishing with my kids.
